The BLOC is a powerful movement driven by the people who live, work, and go to school in the Bronx. We are made up of a community led leadership body known as the Community Advisory Council, and a membership body of organizational partners.
Together, we build community power, create lasting change, and ensure that those most affected are leading the solutions.
The Bronx Defenders
The Bronx Defenders defends nearly 20,000 Bronx residents in criminal, civil, family, and immigration cases every year, and reach thousands more through our community intake, social work, and community outreach programs.
East Side House
East Side House is a community-based social service organization that recognizes education as the gateway out of poverty for the children and families we serve.
